The design brief was to design a portable storage unit for kids to keep their LEGO® in. The client was solving a problem she had experienced at home with her own children. After discussing this with other parents she had formulated an idea that lead her to the Bricklab design.
The client had sketched some ideas which lead to a first iteration of a design to gain feedback with the concept. The process of design and the ability to create visual images to confirm the clients brief, take time and planned action to complete the concept design. Peter would design and sketch ideas while all the time think and planning to meet the design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA).
